This 12-foot, three-piece fiberglass rod is built to out-perform traditional bamboo stick-style poke poles. Unlike rigid bamboo, this rod flexes and contours to the rocks, giving you superior reach, precision, and durability every time you fish. It is also extremely thin, measuring at about 1/4" inch wide, allowing you to fit in the smallest of honey holes. Despite it's thin diameter, this poke pole has no problem pulling out 5+lb monkeyface eels!

Care Instructions:
- Rinse the poke pole thoroughly with fresh water after every use to extend its longevity.
- Ensure the pole is completely dry before placing it in the carrying case.
- Apply a light coat of oil to the metal connectors to help prevent corrosion.
- If corrosion appears, gently scrub with a scouring—taking care not to damage or file down the connector threads.

Bought this for trying out poke poling for the first time and it worked better then expected. I have caught dozens of monkey face eels with it now and have never had an issue. The thin diameter helps alot with sliding into holes easily
I love my Durasnare fiberglass poke pole! The extra length vs a typical pole comes in very handy, especially when poling around a jetty, and the flexibility of the fiberglass rod lets you access holes and crevices so much easier than with a bamboo pole. When my order arrived there was a minor problem but the owner of Durasnare took care of it immediately. While we were communicating he also provided great tips for where to go and how to best use the pole. This is a small business anyone should feel great about supporting!
Bought this a while ago but wanted to try it out before leaving a review. Came with hooks nicely packed and in a storage tube, I like that you can disassemble it and customize it to how long you actually need, so it’s not unwieldy when climbing on the rocks to get to the holes. Thin enough to fit into the rock ledges and plenty strong, caught my first monkey face eels with it!
First time using the poke pole here in Oregon pulled out 4 monkeyface eels love the thin diameter and flexibility you can really get deeper and farther into the holes.
