Must-Try Poke Poling Experience in the Bay Area

Durasnare didn't just show our group how to catch monkeyface eels and crab, we also learned how to identify ideal poke pole conditions, locations, and regulations. Our group caught 6 eels (2 got away) and 1 rock crab by hand!

If you're looking for a truly immersive outdoor experience in the Bay Area that rewards both curiosity and grit, this is the experience for you!

Big Eels and great times

Went out with Lawrence on a poke poling trip. Never been before. 3 newbies went out and everyone caught monkey faced prickle back eels. Some really big ones in the mix. Lawrence was a great and informative teacher and guide. He definitely knows his stuff and will put you on the elusive eels. Catching these eels is so much fun. Going to go back out with Lawrence again. Highly recommend.
